Ceramics is an infinite medium for the exploration of form. These work samples are a few pieces from 2018-2020; a collection of sculptures created at Artillery A.G. Ceramics Studio by IVAN. Ivan has been creating ceramics since 2008. Each ceramics vessel is tribute to the four elements that sustain life; water, earth, wind and fire. Ceramics is a material the will live beyond our life. It’s a time capsule that will tell the future a story about us. These vessels are made to to disrupt a culture caught up in single use plastic and disposable plastic culture. Ceramics allows us to imagine a world with no plastic.
Ivan’s ceramic vessels continue to reconnect people back to nature through animal sculptures, planters for plants, or vases.
