2018 Wild Human Collection: Ivan Lopez explores the healing properties of painting. As he seeks a new movement practices “within”, a new body of work emerges to push the boundaries of what is possible. Everyday humans use the four elements; earth, wind, water and fire. How can our individual movement of these elements help heal the planet? How does movement heal the planet? How does painting help communicate this message? Colors are the language of the imagination. Painting is a snap shot of imagination. Being wild helps heal stagnant energy, stagnant ideas and stagnant lifestyles.

A better me make a better we. What do animals teach us about being better humans how do we pursue a beautiful life and how does taking care of our self seed a better community at large. How can animals and humans do self care in a way that is harmonious with the ecology of the earth. How does capitalism hinder self care by pursuing only one value structure. How can we start to recreate what is valuable to us in our lives and what is valuable to the animals of the world.
